Ballaminers House has often been described as a little gem and guests have commented that the house captures a 'home from home' feeling. The farmhouse dates from the mid eighteenth century and history relates that it was part of a fully functioning one hundred acre cattle farm which provided milk to the village of Little Petherick and Padstow. More information The patio area of the house is sheltered and has lovely views ahead of the surrounding countryside. Teak table and chairs and striped sun parasol and weber barbecue . Enjoy eating outside and watch the sun go down. There are three sunloungers for guests to use if they wish. The garden surrounding Ballaminers House contains many plants and shrubs native to cornwall and is approximately one acre in size. It has been an interesting journey. When the house was purchased eight years ago it mainly comprised of trees and shrubs and attractive spring bulbs with no colour at the front of the house. Many possibilities came to mind and we knew that the result we wanted to achieve was that of a natural looking garden. We embarked on a programme of planting with very pleasing results.
