Description of property

This compact, recently restored semi-detached cottage is situated in the heart of the peaceful creekside village of St John – set in a conservation area which overlooks the sheltered waters of the Tamar Estuary. Despite being equipped and furnished in a clean, modern style, this lovely cottage has retained much of its period charm including its winding staircase. The cottage also boasts close proximity to the village pub, as well as its own garden and off road parking. Although this is a quiet corner of Cornwall, there is much to keep visitors occupied, including the beaches of Whitsand Bay and the walks along the cliff tops.

Electric convector heating throughout. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, colour TV with Freeview, DVD, stereo/CD. Fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for two cars. Enclosed garden with patio area & furniture (3 metres from property, accessed via a quiet lane). Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles. Pub with children’s play area 20 yards. Note: Stairs quite steep, care should be taken with young children.

Pricing information

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Yet again, Sykes have delivered! A very good standard of property in a lovely setting. An ideal place for a family with two children. This is the third time we have booked with Sykes and we have never been let down. Highly recommended! 5 stars!

,Location near a great pub. Lovely, well designed, cosy cottage, fine for four. Enjoyed the 'Camel Trail', tree surfing, Seaton, 'St John' pub.
