Peggoty's Cottage is a charming 17th century stone fisherman's cottage situated just 100 yards from the beach down a narrow street in the coastal village of Kingsand near Plymouth. The cottage has one double bedroom which with the addition of a sofa bed makes it suitable for three people. There is also a family shower room and an open plan living area with a galley kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburner-effect electric stove as well as a first floor snug with the sofabed. Being just yards from the beach, yet only five miles from the city of Plymouth, Peggoty's Cottage is a fabulous cottage for a relaxing holiday.

Electric convector heating throughout, additional heating from woodburner-effect electric stove in sitting area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, colour TV, DVD, books/DVDs/games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking in public car park 300 yards away, weekly permit costs £20. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Unsuitable for children under 5 due to steep open stairs.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Property feedback

The location of Pegotty's Cottage is superb. We loved being so close to the ocean, a few steps only. There were no ocean views but the whole village was so picturesque. There were pubs, a shop and walks along the coastal path that we liked. We also liked the proximity to fabulous National Trust properties.

,Really quirky little cottage in a perfect loaction only metres from the beach. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The village was beautiful and very friendly. Overall was an ideal location and a great cottage for some much needed rest and relaxation.
