Wave Hub work to begin next week
A £42million project off Hayle in Cornwall is to start next week.
The project involves the construction of the worlds largest wave farm. The Hub will be connected to a new electricity sub-station by an undersea cable. The wave hub project has been widely praised by the marine energy industry.
Stephen Peacock from the South West Regional Development Agency said " Our aim is to create an entirely new low carbon industry in the South West and hundreds of quality jobs".
